Playing sound
How do I change My Sound?
Press and hold the big button on the Home screen, then pick any sound or saved mix. You can also change it in Settings.
Why doesn't the sound stop on its own?
That's on purpose: Sleepy Noise plays all night unless you set a timer. Tap the timer button under the big button to choose 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or press and hold it for longer options. Timers fade out gently.
Does it keep playing through calls and alarms?
Yes. Sound pauses during a call, alarm or voice assistant and fades back in afterward. If you start music or a podcast in another app, Sleepy Noise stops, since you chose something else to play.
Do the sounds loop?
Not audibly. Most sounds are generated live on your phone, and recordings blend into themselves so you never hear a seam.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Every sound plays offline.
Starting sound without opening the app
iPhone: widgets, Control Center, Action Button and Siri
Add the Sleepy Noise widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen. Add the "My Sound" control in Control Center, or assign it to the Action Button in Settings. You can also say "Hey Siri, play My Sound in Sleepy Noise."
Android: widget, Quick Settings and app shortcut
Add the Sleepy Noise widget to your home screen, or add the "My Sound" tile to Quick Settings (swipe down twice, then tap the pencil). You can also press and hold the app icon and choose "Play My Sound."
Mixes
How do I make a mix?
Open the Mix tab and tap up to three sounds. They start playing right away if nothing else is, and you can set each one's level at the bottom. Tap Save mix to keep it. The free version saves one mix; Lifetime saves as many as you like.
Nursery
What is the safer volume limit?
It caps the app's volume at 60%. Keep your phone's volume low too, and place the phone at least 2 m (about 7 ft) from the crib. Phones can't measure decibels, so treat this as guidance rather than a guarantee.
How do bedtime reminders work?
Add a bedtime in Settings. Sleepy Noise asks for notification permission only when you turn a reminder on. Tapping a reminder starts My Sound. The free version includes one reminder; Lifetime adds as many as your family needs.
Sleepy Noise Lifetime
What does Lifetime include?
Every sound pack (including new ones as they're added), unlimited saved mixes and a bedtime for every kid. It's a one-time purchase with no subscription.
I bought Lifetime but sounds are still locked
Go to Settings and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used to buy it.
Can my family share Lifetime?
On iPhone, yes: Lifetime works with Family Sharing, so family members on the same plan can restore it on their phones.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases go through Apple or Google, so refunds are requested from them. On iPhone, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & history.
