Sleepy Noise
Terms of Use
Effective October 30, 2026
The short version: Use Sleepy Noise to play sounds for yourself and your family. It's offered as is, it isn't medical advice, and purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their terms.
Who we are
Sleepy Noise is made by NewCulture, based in Clayton, North Carolina. These terms cover the website at sleepynoise.app, the Sleepy Noise apps for iPhone and Android, and the Sleepy Noise Chrome extension ("Sleepy Noise"). By using Sleepy Noise you agree to them.
Using Sleepy Noise
You may use Sleepy Noise for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, resell, redistribute or rehost its sounds, recordings or code, don't use it to build a competing product, and don't try to disrupt or overload the website or its services.
Not medical advice
Sleepy Noise plays sounds. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and nothing on the website or in the apps is medical advice. Guides about sleep, babies, focus or ADHD share general information with sources; talk to a doctor or other clinician about your own health or your child's. Keep volume low, especially around infants: the safer volume limit is guidance, not a guarantee, because phones can't measure sound levels.
Purchases
Sleepy Noise Lifetime is a one-time in-app purchase sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handles payment, refunds and Family Sharing under their own terms. On iPhone, the Apple Media Services Terms and Apple's standard license agreement also apply. Lifetime includes the sound packs available now and the ones we add later, for as long as we offer the app.
Ownership
The Sleepy Noise name, logo, sounds, recordings, website, apps and extension belong to NewCulture or its licensors. Using Sleepy Noise doesn't give you any ownership of them.
Messages you send
If you contact us, you're responsible for what you send. We'll use it to reply and to improve Sleepy Noise, as described in our privacy policy.
Changes and availability
We may update, change or stop parts of Sleepy Noise, including sounds and features, at any time. We'll try not to remove anything you paid for, but we can't promise that every feature will be available forever.
No warranty
Sleepy Noise is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We work hard to keep sound playing all night, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free on every device.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, NewCulture isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of Sleepy Noise. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Sleepy Noise in the 12 months before the claim, or $10 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Continuing to use Sleepy Noise after a change means you accept the updated terms.
