Rain heavy enough to cover everything
Heavy rain is one of the best natural maskers there is. It's loud, broad and constant, close to pink noise with texture, and it covers traffic, voices and a snoring partner.
The thunder in this recording stays low and rolling rather than cracking overhead. If you'd rather have no thunder at all, Soft Rainfall or the free Gentle Rain are calmer.
Part of Rain & Storms
Rain & Rolling Thunder is in the Rain & Storms pack with Soft Rainfall, Distant Storm and a synthesized Thunderstorm, all included with Sleepy Noise Lifetime. In the app it plays all night with no loop you can hear. This page plays a 25-second preview.
Frequently asked questions
Will the thunder wake me up?
It's kept low and rolling, and every Sleepy Noise sound is loudness-matched so nothing jumps out. If thunder bothers you, try Soft Rainfall instead.
Can I play heavy rain sounds for 10 hours?
In Sleepy Noise, yes. It plays all night by default with no ads and no audible loop, unless you set a timer.
